Evaluate nutritional status
Evaluate vascular status
Diagnose wound etiology
(pressure, arterial, venous, trauma, burn, neoplasm, vasculitis, skin disorder, other)
History and Physical exam
Order and asses vascular studies
Order and asses nutritional labs
Take Bone biopsies and cultures
Treatment
Debridement (Scalpel, Curette, Rongeur, Cautery)
Order and/or apply appropriate dressings
Offloading orders
Order dietary evaluation as needed
Educate nursing staff
