Increasingly, patients are coming into the Nursing Home with open wounds or are at high risk for development of wounds. There is a need for a Physician to identify patients that are high risk for development of wounds and implement all aggressive preventive interventions/treatments as these patients are identified. QSM is a network of Wound Care Specialists that offers a comprehensive approach to Wound Management in the Nursing Home environment.

QSM Certified Wound Specialist to round with wound care nurse or designee, on ALL residents with wounds, to assist with documentation, preventive interventions, current legislative guidelines, product selection, support surfaces, and provide follow-up recommendations. In-service educational presentations for CNA's and RN's.
